Yes! Having a piano/keyboard, or guitar at home is essential so students can practice between lessons. If you’re using a keyboard, we recommend one that is full-size (88 keys) and touch-sensitive, meaning it plays louder when pressed firmly and softer when played gently. For guitars, we recommend either an acoustic or classical style guitar that is the right size for your student.

Guitars are available in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full size. The size your student should use depends on their height and age. If in between sizes, we recommend sizing up so the guitar will fit your student longer.1/4 Size Guitar: Recommended for children 4–6 years old who are approximately 2'7"–3'10" tall.1/2 Size Guitar: Recommended for children 6–9 years old who are approximately 3'7"–4'7" tall.3/4 Size Guitar: Recommended for children 9–12 years old who are approximately 4'3"–4'11" tall.Full Size Guitar: Recommended for adults and children over 5' tall.

We work with students of all ages, from young children to adults, though the majority of our students are between 5–16 years old. For younger beginners, we recommend they’re able to recognize right vs. left and identify letters of the alphabet before starting lessons, as this helps them feel more confident and successful right away.

Our lessons are held once a week and are 30 minutes long. We also offer 45-minute lessons for students who are ready for a longer session or want to progress more quickly.

30-minute lessons are $110 per month, and 45-minute lessons are $145 per month. We use a flat-rate tuition model, so your monthly payment stays the same regardless of whether there are 3, 4, or 5 lessons in a given month.

Yes! We teach electric guitar. While our curriculum is primarily designed for acoustic and classical guitar, students are welcome to learn on an electric guitar. We focus on building strong fundamentals that apply to all styles, but our program is not specifically geared toward rock, metal, or other electric guitar–focused genres.

The youngest we typically recommend starting lessons is around 5 years old. At this age, it helps if children can tell their right hand from their left and can recognize the letters of the alphabet. For our youngest students, we make lessons fun and engaging by incorporating games and playful activities that help them learn while keeping their attention and excitement for music high.

Yes! All of our students have the opportunity to perform in our annual recital, which takes place each December.
